Today, I received the heartbreaking news that a Marine from Jackson, Wyoming, was killed yesterday in the terror attack in Kabul, Afghanistan. There are no words sufficient to comfort a family after hearing news like this, but I want to express my deepest condolences to Rylee McCollum’s family and friends. I am praying that the peace of the Lord encompasses them during this horrible time.
Rylee sacrificed his life in service to his country and to the brave Afghans who partnered with us during our mission in Afghanistan. His sacrifice will not be forgotten.
