Washington, D.C.— Senator Cynthia Lummis (R-WY) announced the hard work done by her team to serve the people of Wyoming this year.
“As we close out 2024, I remain humbled by the opportunity to serve the people of Wyoming and be their voice in Washington,” said Lummis. “My team and I have spent the year traveling to every corner of the Cowboy State to meet with more than 1,500 constituents struggling to navigate federal red tape, and I am proud to announce we have rightfully returned nearly $1,350,000 to the people of Wyoming. It is the honor of a lifetime to serve the people of Wyoming, and I will continue to fight for every corner of the Cowboy State in 2025.”
In 2024, Senator Lummis and her team:
- Held office hours in every county in the state of Wyoming.
- Had more than 1,598 meetings with people from Wyoming to provide assistance with federal agencies and make sure their voices were heard in Washington.
- Resolved 478 casework cases.
- Rightfully returned $1,334,071.44 to the people of Wyoming and secured $59 million in grant funding on behalf of constituents.
- Responded to more than 60,000 constituent letters, emails and phone calls.
- Completed 30 military service academy applications and 22 interviews for Wyoming high school students who are interested in honorably serving our country.
